Goodbye for now...
I won't be having any more baby bunnies until next spring now... I like to give my doe's a nice long break from breeding, I think its only fair! - I will start taking reservations next February for the new baby buns which will be born in March & of course I will update the blog again then.

Bunny Update...
Aren't these just the most adorable things you've ever seen???....
Tinkerbells babies (pictured above) are now almost 4 weeks old, she's done amazingly well all 6 babies survived, they're all fit & healthy & very chunky. They will be ready to leave mum on the 5th August.

New litters...
We've had 2 new litters born in the last week..
On the 17th, my gorgeous bunny Tinkerbell gave birth to her 2nd litter this year..
It's hard to see from the pic but there are 6 babies in there!

Then on the 21st, Olivia had her 2nd litter..now if you remember from spring Olivia is the bunny who's not a very good mummy - I had to remove her first litter from her & hand rear them as she neglected & tried to kill them..I thought I'd give her a second chance, & so far she seems to be doing brilliantly, much calmer & she's feeding them by herself - I think she's sussed motherhood now :o)
I only breed my bunnies twice per year so these will be my last newborns for 2009.

Its a really nice one, it has a large top hutch area with seperate sleeping area & a downstairs run area with can be shut off if wanted, it also has a pull out tray & the roof opens wide for easy cleaning.

As you know Molly gave birth to 5 babies, sadly one died soon after being born & another one died the day after that, so only 3 survived. This is perfectly normal & mother rabbits tend to instinctively know if there is a problem with the baby & deliberately refuse to feed it :o( Mum knows best!
I do have a reservations list & all these bunnies should have new homes already (providing nobody has changed their mind) if you would like to be added to my reservations list just email me.
